The Greenough River Solar Farm was a joint venture for Verve Energy and GE Energy Financial Services and was the first installation of its kind in Australia.  It was at its time the nation’s largest solar photovoltaic (PV) power project, consisting of approximately 150000 First Solar PV modules and displacing 20,000 tonnes greenhouse gas emissions per year.

GCo Solar's scope of work included the HV/ LV, Communications, AC and DC underground cabling and terminations.  GCo Solar were responsible for all of the terminations and testing over 128 Harness Combiner Boxes that formed part of the installation.  During the project, GCo Solar laid over 40km of cable and completed over 10,000hrs on site with no LTI’s.
